The Domaine des Sénéchaux counts itself amongst the oldest vineyards in Castro Novo, the birthplace of the wines of Pape and the creation of ''appellations d’origine contrôlées''.

The Cazes family, owners of Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac, purchased the Domaine des Sénéchaux in 2006 and are striving for excellence in this region.

The 2012 vintage is the the first release of the Single Vineyard Acin Chardonnay from Brewer-Clifton. Located across the road from the Machado vineyard at the end of Hapgood road, Acin is a gentle, north facing parcel, planted to just over an acre of Chardonnay.

Written and dated April 18th, 1855,  The Syndicat des Courtiers de Commerce de Bordeaux  (wine-brokers) are replying to a request by the members of the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce to rank and rate the great red and white wines of the Gironde.

Our latest Sommelier Featured wine is the delicious Brunello di Montalcino from Fattoria La Gerla. The estate, which had the typical local name of Colombaio, belonged to the Biondi Santi family which achieved one of the best Brunellos of the area from there at the time.
