Join Vin Chicago on Monday, October 17th as we host Hugh Davies, proprietor of the legendary Schramsberg and Davies Vineyards! Born in the same year his parents purchased the abandoned Schramsberg estate in Calistoga, Hugh grew up among the vines of his family's winery where he still lives today. In addition to producing the premium sparkling wines of Schramsberg, Hugh also makes world class Cabernet Sauvignon from his family's hillside vineyard on Diamond Mountain and silky Pinot Noir from some of the top vineyards in the North Coast.

We'll be hosting Hugh at Nia, an intimate Randolph Street restaurant whose owner has as much passion for wine as we do! We'll lead off with a trio of Schramsberg sparklers, move to the Pinot Noir and Cabernet and finish with Hugh's ultra rare J. Schram tête de cuvée - the epitome of the Schramsberg sparklers that accounts for a mere 3% of the winery's annual production!
